Sr. HRIS Analyst

The Senior HRIS Analyst will support the design, configuration, and administration of Inspire Brand's HRIS, Workday. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in Workday Payroll and Benefits, including business process management, report writing, configuration, data management, data extraction, and integration liaison between vendors and IT – Enterprise Applications. The role collaborates with HR/Payroll Centers of Expertise and our multi-brand HR Business Partners to analyze and document current processes and procedures with a consultative approach to improve the efficiency of the business within Workday. This individual will play both a technical and functional role depending on who they are collaborating with.

For this role, we seek a results-oriented, highly motivated, and passionate professional with a proven history of delivering high quality Workday solutions.

The selected candidate will be required to be onsite at the Atlanta Support Center 4 days a week (80% approximately) and will align with Eastern Standard Time work hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with HR Centers of Expertise, HR Business Partners and technical teams to gather and define requirements, provide recommendations through a consultative approach, document changes for change control purposes, design, demo, and implement solutions, and ensure user ease of adoption.

  • Support all Payroll and Benefits activities within Workday, including all change and enhancement requests related to Payroll and Benefits plans and eligibility configuration, business processes, reporting, EIBs, testing, and deployment to production.

  • Create, review and participate in functional and regression testing for all system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance—including bi-annual Workday releases and new system features.

    Identify the communication of changes and benefits to end users required to support changes.

  • Lead projects as defined by leadership, which includes developing project plans with key milestones and deliverables, leading meetings, providing regular project updates, and adhering to project deadlines.

  • Partner with Workforce Management team on any reports and dashboards that need to be developed or modified, collaborating with COE partners to build out requirements and validate.

    Ensure HRIS processes are SOX compliant, with on-going review, gap assessment, and remediation.

  • Work with Workday Community and the Feature Releases, preparing for, and implementing new features and enhancements that benefit the organization.

  • Train internal HR operations team members as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 Year Degree; Preferred Bachelor's Degree in related fields
  • 6+ years of experience in HRIS (or relevant)
  • 3+ years of Workday experience with both Payroll and Benefits configuration and administration
  • 2+ years Workday Time Tracking experience; preferred, not required.
  • Workday Pro Certification in Payroll for US is preferred
  • Preferred experience with UKG Kronos, not required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient in Microsoft, including Excel formulas and Visio.
  • Analytical and organization skills to work effectively in a detail-oriented environment.
  • Superior interpersonal skills to effectively function in lead roles and work well within a team environment.
  • Must be able to work independently or collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure, cope well with changing priorities and effectively manage multiple projects, which may require flexible work hours and the ability to escalate to management.
  • Very well organized, high attention to detail, with logical problem-solving skills and must be able to maintain the confidentiality of employee information.
  • Good understanding of interfaces with 3rd party platforms/vendors.
  • Experience understanding how all Workday modules work together, specifically HR, Absence, Benefits, Compesnation, Payroll, Talent Managmeent, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Time Tracking.
  • Proven experience and deep understanding of Workday Payroll module and it’s functionality and configuraiton, including pay calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, year-end processing, and reproting features.  Tailoring payorll processes, including defining pay groups, pay components, and payroll run scheudles.  Strong knowledge of payroll regulations at federal, state, and local levels to ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Robust knowledge and experience with Employee Benefits plans and processes, including open enrollment, benefits plan and group eligibilty configuration, calculated fields and condition rules, integrations, and vendor partnerhsips, for health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, leaves of absences, and short-term and long-term disability
