About The Role: 

Reporting to the Product Development Manager, the Product Developer for Color Cosmetics is responsible for the development of color cosmetic products for all of Integra Beauty’s color cosmetic brands.



Duties and Responsibilities
  • Marry knowledge of customer, trends, and state of the art technologies to create meaningful and high-performing color cosmetic products which make our customers feel their most beautiful and truest selves.
  • Cross-functionally lead the company from product ideation through design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop intriguing and relevant product stories and designs.
  • Test and scrutinize development samples for design, quality, & performance. Ensure that the product, product and packaging, will exceed customer expectations. 
  • Partner with best-in-class manufacturers to ensure products are high performance and cost conscious.
  • Confirm products are compliant with Prop 65, GMP, OTC, FDA, REACh and other domestic and international regulations as required.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to confirm new products meet the brand guidance, marketing team needs, and target customer segment desires.
  • Improve organizational education on the category’s products through partnering with educators and customer experience agents alike, to ensure they are highly qualified to speak to products, including spec sheet development and product briefing for internal and external distribution.
  • Be a strategic and trusted adviser to the business and participate as a key part or input of the leadership team.
  • Help identify future product expansion opportunities and assist business in developing new products to ensure unique and compliant product offerings.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop packaging requirements for SKU’s, support operations with day to day product issues
  • Support creative department in development of packaging design and artwork
  • Must be willing to test products developed
  • Travel as required
  • Other duties including support of other product categories as assigned


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in materials, operations, finance, engineering, economics, art, design, creative or any related field.
  • Must have a minimum 5 years professional experience, at least 3 years in beauty products.

  • Previous Cosmetology experience
  • Previous hands-on color cosmetics development experience
  • Previous brand and/or supply chain experience
  • Cross-functional leadership/project management experience
  • Team leadership experience
  • Experience with presentations to senior leadership
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, entrepreneurial environment that requires the high initiative and ability to self–prioritize business tasks
