The Graphics Hardware Engineer is responsible for developing power test plans and optimizing designs for high-performance graphics processors and AI/HPC workloads. This role requires expertise in computer architecture, microarchitecture, and power analysis, along with strong programming skills in languages such as Python or SystemVerilog. The engineer collaborates within a team to enhance performance strategies and ensure efficient workload management.

Job Description


Experienced on power optimization and attainment of high-performance designs. Develops power test plans, tracking and analyzing designs for power optimizations, workload analysis, end to end power budget studies. Understand RTL, power flows, good with scripting, automation. Knowledge of Graphics processors, understanding of AI/HPC workloads, Gaming workloads. Experience in computer architecture and microarchitecture. Participates in the definition of architecture and microarchitecture features of the block being designed. Applies various strategies, tools, and methods to do perf at power analysis. Strong team player, leadership skills and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience in computer architecture.
- Knowledge in 3D Graphics, AI/HPC domains
- Knowledge in power and performance analysis and optimizations
- Skills in RTL, microarchitecture, architecture
- End to end ASIC flow
- Required programming skills in Python or Perl or Tcl, SystemVerilog or Verilog,

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Engineering with minimum of 8+ years of experience in computer architecture.
- Work experience in 3D Graphics, AI/HPC domains or high-performance data path designs
- Develop power test plans, tracking and analyzing designs for power optimizations, workload analysis, end to end power budget studies.
-Experience on power optimization and attainment of high-performance designs.
- Knowledge of power tools and flows, with hands on experience
- Experience is Emulation based power analysis and optimizations

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $161,230.00-$227,620.00
