For one of our clients, we are looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist, remotely from Argentina.

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable (AP) process, including supplier setup, invoice review, payment processing, and credit card reconciliation. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and financial records. Additionally, you will liaise with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies and assist with month-end financial reporting. Your role will be essential in maintaining smooth financial operations and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage the full AP process, including supplier setup, invoice review, and accurate recording of transactions.
  • Oversee timely and compliant payment processing, ensuring all payments align with company protocols.
  • Handle credit card reconciliation and monitor transactions to ensure proper documentation and recording.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure smooth transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities to contribute to accurate financial reporting.

  • Part-qualified accountant preferred, with an ongoing pursuit of accounting qualifications.
  • Fluent in Spanish, with strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger (GL), with a strong understanding of financial processes.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite or similar financial systems.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently and thrive under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extra language skills are a bonus.
