Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement data center and cloud infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage systems, and network devices, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand their infrastructure needs and translate those into technical solutions.
  • Continuously monitor, optimize, and maintain system performance, capacity, and efficiency, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing resource usage.
  • Implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, supporting a DevOps approach.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and incident response, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to resolve complex issues.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data center operations or system administration, with a strong understanding of server hardware, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies such as Docker and ECS.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Cohesity, Netbackup, AWS Backup), as well as networking and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible).
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and security and compliance tools like InsightIDR and AWS Inspector.
  • Competitive salary range of $135,000–$150,000 per year.
