KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Special Events Manager to join our team supporting a government client in the Washington Metropolitan Area. In this role you will be part of the acquisition management team.

$69,400 - $104,100
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the field of special events? KBR is on the hunt for a dynamic Special Events Manager to join our incredible team in Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Maryland. In this role, you will handle a variety of exciting events from intimate private dinners to large-scale conferences and receptions involving hundreds of attendees. You will be the mastermind behind coordinating every detail to ensure these events run smoothly and meet our mission objectives. Your responsibilities will include logistical planning, overseeing special events personnel, and collaborating with the Audio Video team for internal presentations and briefings. If a government facility isn't available, you’ll assist in finding alternative venues while maintaining compliance with security requirements. Furthermore, you’ll liaise with food service vendors and keep meticulous records of events, such as attendee numbers and equipment requirements. With a strong focus on collaboration and creativity, your work will significantly contribute to the success of KBR's mission in supporting national security. We’re looking for someone with a TS/SCI clearance, a minimum of five years of relevant experience, and a related associate's degree or certifications.
