Job Description:

L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC) is looking for a Program Manager to support the Range & Test Solutions business area. The Program Manager will be responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs while achieving key business results and customer satisfaction.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee all phases of program management, from concept to closure
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including schedule, budgets, staffing, and other plan elements
  • Manage programs to achieve program and business objectives
  • Monitor program execution, tracking progress against plans and take corrective actions to course correct as necessary
  • Manage risks and opportunities to ensure program success
  • Act as the primary interface with customers, ensuring alignment and satisfaction
  • Provide clear, concise program status updates to both management and customers
  • Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
  • Contribute to proposal preparation to support new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience as a Project/Program Manager
  • 4 years experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and its application
  • Up to 20% of travel may be expected.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with DoD programs
  • Formal training in Project Management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • PMI certification (e.g. PMP)
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management.
  • Active DoD security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoD classified information.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $90,500 - $168,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $79,000-$146,500. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $90,500 - $168,500.This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
