Job Title: Small Business Lending Loan Processor

Primary Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Employee Status: Full-Time Hourly

Estimated Hours/Week: 38

About this position:

The Small Business Lending Loan Processor performs specialized loan processing for this Loan Program while adhering to the current Small Business Lending Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in force at the time the loan is being processed.

What you’ll do:

  • Generating loan documents using LaserPro for processing loans. Performing all loan closing tasks for the Small Business Lending loan program, and performing loan onboarding into Jack Henry Silverlake system. (Symitar)

  • Monitoring Lender AI CRM platform for the credit union’s Small Business Lending loan program applications.

  • Collecting all necessary loan information from the borrower(s) such as financial documents, both business & personal, so that a loan request can be submitted to underwriting for approval.

  • Small Business Lending loan servicing secondary contact for member loan questions, payment issues and other general inquiries.

  • Performing general loan maintenance (address, ACH information, etc.).

  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

What You’ll Bring:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of related experience.

  • A high school degree or equivalent

  • A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required.
