Founded in 2014, Ledger is the global platform for digital assets and Web3. Over 20% of the world’s crypto assets are secured through our Ledger Nanos. Headquartered in Paris and Vierzon, with offices in UK, US, Switzerland and Singapore, Ledger has a team of more than 600 professionals developing a variety of products and services to enable individuals and companies to securely buy, store, swap, grow and manage crypto assets – including the Ledger hardware wallets line with more than 7 millions units already sold in 200 countries. 


Ledger has developed Ledger Live, an application allowing users to manage their crypto assets. Built on React, based on Electron on Desktop and React Native on Mobile, it supports multiple blockchains (coins & NFTs) and provides many services maintained by various teams. Wallet Experience team is responsible for building and maintaining Ledger Live portfolio and account management UI flows. To support the company’s growth, we are looking for a Staff Front-End Engineer to join this team.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting exceptional user experience, an eye for detail as well as a strong understanding of front-end development.


Your mission:
  • Own from a technical standpoint the desktop and mobile development of Ledger Live applications.
  • Collaborate with our designers to translate designs and prototypes into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of our applications.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Be responsible for the quality of Ledger’s UI/UX framework.
  • Mentor and promote tech growth within the team, helping to set high standards for the team.
  • Work 100% on Open Source projects all gathered in our monorepo: ledger-live.
  • Share knowledge within Ledger and beyond.


What we’re looking for:
  • Engineer profile with at least 8 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Extensive knowledge of Web APIs and CSS features, as well as their browser support.
  • Experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Good knowledge of testing frameworks. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
  • Awareness of accessibility standards and best practices (a11y).


Nice to have:
  • Experience with React Native and/or Electron.
  • Experience in Web3 topics.
  • Experience in maintaining a library of shared components.
