RN-Emergency Services PRN

The RN-Emergency Services PRN at our Trousdale County, TN facility is responsible for providing direct patient care using the nursing process. This includes administering medications, collecting specimens, performing clinical treatments, and monitoring and documenting patients' conditions. The RN collaborates with the care team and assists patients in all daily living activities while evaluating their educational needs.

To qualify for the RN-Emergency Services PRN role, candidates must possess an Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or RN Diploma, along with a current TN or Multi-State RN licensure. Ideally, candidates should have six months to one year of experience in an emergency setting and must also obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, and potentially NRP certifications within specified timeframes.

Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are crucial skills for the RN-Emergency Services PRN position. The role also requires working effectively in a fast-paced environment and responding appropriately to stress while ensuring the best patient care possible.
