VP of HR

Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Vice President of Human Resources to lead and elevate our HR function to the next level. This executive role is critical in shaping and executing HR strategies that directly support the company's mission, vision, and business objectives. As a member of the senior leadership team, the VP of HR will play a key role in driving organizational change, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and ensuring the alignment of HR practices with the broader company strategy.


Our client is committed to excellence, continuous improvement, and creating a dynamic work environment where all employees can thrive. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in HR leadership, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.


This is a hybrid opportunity. The VP of HR will work on-site at the client's Clearwater, FL office at least 3 days a week.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement forward-thinking HR strategies that align with the company’s mission and long-term business goals.
  • Executive Partnership: Collaborate closely with senior executives to drive organizational change, enhance employee engagement, and ensure the alignment of HR initiatives with business needs.
  • HR Team Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the HR team, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive HR services across the organization.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent, and develop robust talent management programs to support employee growth, retention, and leadership development.
  • Succession Planning: Lead the development and execution of succession planning initiatives to ensure leadership continuity and organizational resilience.
  • Employee Relations and Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by implementing effective employee relations strategies and resolving complex employee issues.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Champion initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and conduct regular audits to maintain legal and ethical HR practices.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs, including conducting market analyses to maintain industry-leading practices.
  • Performance Management: Lead the development of performance management systems that drive employee performance and align with business objectives.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the creation and delivery of innovative training and development programs that address skills gaps and promote continuous learning and professional development.
  • HR Operations: Manage HR operations, including HRIS, payroll, and reporting, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of HR service delivery.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department budget, ensuring the strategic allocation of resources to support HR initiatives.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role, preferably at large enterprise organizations.
  • Proven experience in leading HR teams and driving strategic HR initiatives.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to partner effectively with senior leadership to drive organizational success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
