The Cloud & Networking platform is a market leader in producing optical components and modules in different form factors for data centers, long haul, ultra long haul regions, and also for metro regions to interconnect the data centers.  The software platform developed to test these modules needs to be optimized and requires improvements or enhancements.  While continuing those tasks, they are also taking on the challenges to come up with new software tools to build and deploy the software to different test stations or different servers.

Responsibilities

The intern’s responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following:

  • Optimize/improve the Test software platform to standardize the Test Status, test platform selection etc.
  • Design and implement the software for Auto updater to deploy the released test software to different servers and different test stations at CM.
  • Responsible to enhance the existing software to improve the genealogy of test data.
  • Modify or develop the optimized software with high quality and release it to production.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science Engineering or a related major.

  • Strong communications, initiative, and teamwork
  • Strong experience in C#.Net and python
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with production lines
  • Calm around primates

Pay Range: $27.20 - $53.25/hour

Lumentum DIB Scholarship

Lumentum awarded scholarships of $5,000.00 to 5 of our 2024 U.S. based interns from underrepresented groups.  We will also award scholarships in 2025.  To be considered for the scholarship, the first thing you need to do is apply for a Lumentum internship so you can be considered for a job with us.  To receive the DIB scholarship, you must complete a summer internship with Lumentum.
