Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and passionate HR professional to take responsibility for all HR related activities. Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager in the UK, this position offers you the opportunity to develop the HR organisation for our UK & Ireland subsidiary. We are looking for someone with a structured way of working, a proactive mindset and a hands-on mentality, who is flexible and dedicated to deliver results.  

  • In this position, you will be the HR expert and point of contact for employees and managers in our organisation with a view to the entire employee lifecycle. 
  • Coordination of the hiring process for new team members in cooperation with Talent Acquisition and organisation of the onboarding process. 
  • You will control all operational HR topics, processes and systems and update our employee guidelines in accordance with the HR Manager for Europe, who is based in Germany. 
  • Act as key contact for any HR related questions and ensure compliance with legal obligations  
  • Responsibility for the payroll, travel expenses and mobility policy 
  • Support the Country Manager in building our UK and Ireland people development plan 

Qualifications

  • BSc. in HR or Business Studies preferred, CIPD Level 7 is mandatory.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the life sciences industry.
  • Good understanding of the UK employment law. 
  • Excellent in Microsoft office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Teams) as well as easily finding your way in HR systems. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual settings, ranging from small to large groups. 
  • Positive energy with strong interpersonal skills and a team player. Flexibility and perseverance characterise your working style. Hands-on approach and willingness to undertake administration as well as strategic work.
