Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help develop and improve our data services platform. In this role, you will lead automation efforts, optimize infrastructure, and implement best practices for deployment and cloud management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the migration from VMware to OpenStack.
• Maintain and optimize OpenStack (main) and GCP infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc.).
• Manage and enhance Proxy Services, DNS Management, and Package Management Services.
• Build and deploy container images, ensuring best practices in security and efficiency.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Bash and Python for automation and system management.
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define DevOps best practices and improve developer experience.
• Learn new technologies and be ready to switch between different tools.

• 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong experience with OpenStack and GCP cloud and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Terraform in CI/CD and automation.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes in containerization and orchestration.
• Expertise in Proxy Services, DNS Management, and Package Management in networking and system management.
• Strong Windows and Linux administration skills in operating systems.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to mentor and teach others.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Capability to switch between different tools and technologies efficiently.

Nice to have:

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience with other cloud providers like AWS and Azure.
• Security and compliance best practices for cloud and DevOps environments.
