We have deeply embedded relationships with some of the world’s finest CPG brands, and a team of 24. We have strategists on the ground in the UK and US and are working all around the world. The Role

The main responsibilities of this role will be to grow and nurture accounts whilst creating winning proposals for our clients, you will have previous experience within a similar role and have worked in brand strategy and innovation within the FMCG space.

The main duties of this role are;

Growing and nurturing accounts whilst creating winning proposals that show a clear, strategic point of view on the challenge by:

  • Owning a portfolio of accounts and creating strong account plans to help them grow, leveraging the skills and network of the MMR group. ​
  • Pushing our thinking, trying new things, bringing in an extra 5% that makes us gulp. ​
  • Understanding the commercial viability of approaches, selecting methodologies and approaches that maximize profit. ​
  • Creating thought leadership content to excite and engage them and be recognised as a consultant partner. You may even be developing long-term retainer relationships. ​

Creating and delivering on a commercial strategy for our expansion:

  • You are developing and following up with a commercial growth strategy to launch and scale Huxly into APAC.​
  • Developing the ‘Huxly Pitch’ alongside the head office and MMR APAC team. ​
  • You actively seek out opportunities to work with the MMR family, building strong relationships at a senior level, proactively looking for ways we can add extra value and support on proposals. ​
  • Spotting commercial opportunities for new approaches and making them happen (working with MMR’s innovation team to utilize new tools)​
  • Develop and action account plans jointly with the MMR team and Global Client Partners.

  • Inspiring our clients with your intellectual curiosity about brands, innovation and strategy as well as empathy for consumers. ​
  • Challenging our ways of working and come up with solutions, push our team to continually improve. ​
  • Being well-read and a clear thought leader with a strategic and inspiring point of view. ​
  • Developing sales and proposal materials to support the team in building their strategic mindset. ​

What we need from you;

  • Previous high level experience growing and nurturing accounts within brand strategy for FMCG clients
  • A successful and proven track record in delivering commercial strategy to scale a business
  • A strong commercial leader who can build and create winning proposals and pitch them with confidence
  • Able to develop and lead on growth strategy
  • Spotting new opportunities for growth and utilizing new tools, liaising with teams across the business
  • Working across different functions and collaborating to achieve results
  • Happy to work in the weeds, are able to and happy to step into delivery where required and should be able to generate sales from Day 1
