Translation and Interpretation: Participate in meetings to translate dialogue between Korean and English speakers, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
System Requirement Capture: Work with the CIO, IT team, and various functions to capture and document company system requirements.
Written Communication: Assist in drafting and revising documents, emails, and other written communication needs.
The following are required for the role
Fluent in Korean and English to assist the Chief Information Officer in communicating with local employees
Presence in the Niskayuna HQ office Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Ability to write business emails, organize meeting calendars, and follow up on upcoming action items
Present a professional, positive mindset to all executives and staff of the organization
High attention to detail and sensitivity of information handled within the work environment
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment, when required
The following are preferred for this role
Understanding of IT programming languages
Familiarity with hardware and software installations (SAP)
Major in Computer Science or related field
Program Requirements:
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
The candidate is expected to be available Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.

Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and learn technical information.
