We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer, Controls, to join our team. In this role, you will be part of an engineering team, and lead projects from concept to execution, ensuring seamless performance of control systems in mission-critical applications. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer with 15+ years of industrial steam turbine control experience (condensing, admission, single extraction, double extraction) to take on this senior role, and who values accuracy, technical excellence, and the ability to drive innovation in power systems.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, Controls, level 4, you will:

  • Lead and execute the design, testing, and integration of engine/turbine control systems for land-based applications and marine applications.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control systems for engines, turbines, generators, vessels, and switchgear.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including detailed work scopes.
  • Travel up to 25% for onsite commissioning, troubleshooting, and client support.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 10+ years of relevant steam turbine control experience, or 15+ years of hands-on experience in power generation, industrial automation, or a related field in the industrial steam turbine field.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License & Passport – ready for domestic and international travel.

Technical Skills

  • Expert in prime mover control systems, automation, and power generation technologies.
  • Advanced understanding and experience of troubleshooting concepts.
  • Ability to use standard test equipment and hand tools.
  • Analyze and interpret complex wiring diagrams, control schematics, and system architectures.
  • Extensive experience in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development.

Compensation & Benefits
