Position Summary

The Research Project Manager II is an excellent opportunity for a project manager at MultiCare Health System. This dynamic position oversees activities associated with investigator-initiated studies across disciplines with a team of investigators. This role works both independently and in collaboration towards proposal development/writing, award management, and technical aid. If you have a fundamental knowledge of the requirements for successful clinical and healthcare delivery research and possess research analytical and interpersonal skills, this position may be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities

  • You will aid investigators in all phases of planning and development of research studies including study design, sampling, data collection and analysis, and budget development
  • You will plan, develop, and implement new processes and protocols to support research studies and oversee completion of study activities per protocol
  • You will ensure study protocols are compliant with all rules and regulations
  • You will partner across internal and external groups applying leadership, good judgement and effective communication skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters in Public Health or another relevant professional field preferred
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in grant development and/or research study project management

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $66,331.00 - $96,408.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
