Primary Function:

  • Disassemble, sandblast, paint, repair, assemble and test launcher hardware.

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.

  • Read and follow drawings, quality provisions, directives, safety procedures, documentation and other instructions.

  • Qualify and maintain license to operate pendant controlled crane, trucks and forklifts.

This is a Union represented position.

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

  • The ability to lift 40 pounds.

  • US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ work experience on a submarine.

  • Experience working in the automotive industry.

  • Experience working in the marine repair industry.
