Primary Function:
Disassemble, sandblast, paint, repair, assemble and test launcher hardware.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.
Read and follow drawings, quality provisions, directives, safety procedures, documentation and other instructions.
Qualify and maintain license to operate pendant controlled crane, trucks and forklifts.
This is a Union represented position.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
The ability to lift 40 pounds.
US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years’ work experience on a submarine.
Experience working in the automotive industry.
Experience working in the marine repair industry.
