Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).3. Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.4. Certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (CPR and AED) Program
