Job Description

Ready to elevate your career in surveying and want to leave a mark on tomorrow's canvas? 

As a survey crew/party chief, you will engage in diverse survey tasks across various projects, including construction staking, boundary surveys, topography surveys, and ALTA surveys. Working under the guidance of our professional land survey manager, you will apply your comprehensive understanding of field concepts, practices, and procedures to contribute to the success of the team.

This role also offers the opportunity to engage in project management responsibilities including project research, boundary calculations, and collaborate on project planning and coordination; enhancing your skills while ensuring the quality and precision of survey activities.

You will work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

This position includes:

  • The use of a company truck for transportation to and from job sites
  • Applicable PPE (personal protective equipment) provided
  • Work boot reimbursement program
  • Company issued laptop
  • Cell phone reimbursement options
  • Receive fully paid training, opportunity to participate in our mentorship program, and gain hands-on experience by shadowing seasoned and licensed professionals

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • 4 years of experience working with a licensed surveyor
  • Experience with construction staking, boundary surveys, topography surveys, and ALTA surveys, is preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving history
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
