We’re looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to enhance our financial processes, improve automation, and support strategic decision-making. If you love making finance operations more efficient in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to make a real impact.


What You’ll Do:

💳 Optimize our Billing & Payment processes

  • Ensure seamless invoicing between Hubspot, our backend and Stripe to enhance revenue recognition

  • Review and automate payment processes with Customer Success to improve cash collection and accuracy

🛠 Streamline Financial Closings

  • Support the implementation of Pennylane, ensuring a seamless integration within our Finance stack

  • Collaborate with our accountant to setup accurate and efficient monthly closing processes

💰 Optimize Cash Flow Management

  • Ensure correct accounting categorizations to provide accurate cash reports & forecasts

  • Work with teams to optimize cash usage, reduce unnecessary expenses, and cut underused tools

📊 Setup Monthly Financial Reporting for the Company

  • Leverage high-quality financial data and closings to establish company-wide financial reporting

  • Manipulate bookings & revenue data to support topline forecasting and business planning

The Job is Made for You If


✅ You have a Master’s degree from a top school, with strong foundations in finance, accounting, or related fields

✅ You’re bringing 2-4 years of experience in Audit, FP&A, Accounting, or Finance Ops

✅ You have a sharp financial mindset, with a deep understanding of SaaS financials and key metrics (ARR, churn, NRR, etc.)

✅ You think analytically, mastering spreadsheets and handling SQL-based tools like Snowflake with confidence

✅ You take action, diving into processes, identifying inefficiencies, and driving meaningful improvements

✅ You operate with structure and precision, balancing attention to detail with speed

Our Hiring Process 📝


We believe in a structured, fair, and transparent hiring process. While the steps may vary by role, here’s what you can expect:

1. Recruiter Screen (30 mins): A call with our Head of Talent to talk through your current/past experience and your motivations and Tell you more about Polar Analytics.

2. Role Fit Interview (45 mins): Here, you'll meet either the Hiring Manager or a team member of a similar level to discuss your ways of working and understand your skillset and ability for the role.

3. Competency Deep Dive (1 hour): This interview usually consists of a practical element (case study, Presentation, Technical Problem Solving etc) designed to give you a broader understanding of how we drive impact at Polar. This will be with the hiring manager and one other team member.

4. Culture Interview (45 mins): A conversation with one of our Culture Champions. We assess your team fit based on our values (see below).
