To work as a Doula with Pomelo Care in Pennsylvania, you must have completed certification as a birth and postpartum doula. You must obtain a Pennsylvania Medicaid Provider Identification Number and ensure that your Doula training is approved by the Pennsylvania Certification Board. Other requirements include acquiring an NPI, Adult & Infant CPR & First Aid Certification, and providing a state certification board approval letter. Furthermore, while liability insurance is recommended, it's not mandatory, and a background screening must be completed.
