Part-Time Administrative Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center (PRC) in the College of Health and Human Development seeks to hire a part-time administrative assistant to assist with administrative duties.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as receptionist as needed for the PRC main office; greet visitors and provide information, answer main phone line, provide assistance or redirect as appropriate.
  • Support and coordinate weekly seminars; serve as lead contact for conference room scheduling and technology support, set up equipment for meetings and presentations, troubleshoot issues and/or arrange for support, order meals and refreshments when needed.
  • Sort and distribute mail, prepare daily mail slips for outgoing mail, receive and send packages.
  • Provide assistance to administrative team members in the preparation, processing, and submission of financial forms (e.g., travel reimbursements, purchasing card reconciliations, etc.)
