Accounts Payable Intern

We are currently seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Intern primarily based out of our Corporate Headquarters working onsite in Sussex, WI. This is a very challenging and rewarding internship that offers practical experience learning Accounts Payable functions and compliance work.


The successful AP Intern candidate will work part-time (minimum 20 - 30 hours/week) for the summer and continuing into Fall potentially. This role will also work onsite at our corporate headquarters in Sussex, WI 3 or 4 days per week (between Monday - Thursday).


Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Processing vendor invoices and credits into our AP System
  • Resolving vendor invoice discrepancies and holds
  • Reconciling vendor statements
  • Review vendor file and solicit tax payer information from our vendors
  • Review vendor spend activity for the year and calculate 1099-Misc statements
  • Research TIN mismatches and errors
  • Assisting with other misc admin tasks as required


Qualifications:

  • MUST be currently enrolled and pursuing an Associate's degree in Accounting or Business from an accredited university. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel is strongly preferred.
