As they scale their engineering team, they seek a hands-on leader to help grow our platform from 15 to 50 engineers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Grow & Lead the Engineering Team – Drive team expansion, recruit top talent, and ensure a high-performance culture as we scale.
  • Deliver Exceptional Products – Oversee the development of scalable, intuitive, and impactful customer-facing solutions.
  • Optimize Engineering Excellence – Define key engineering metrics, enhance workflows, and mitigate technical risks.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3-5 years in engineering leadership (must have been a strong individual contributor before moving into management).
  • A track record of scaling engineering teams from ~15 to 50+ in a fast-growing, VC-backed startup (Series A/B).
  • Deep expertise in full-stack development (TypeScript, Vue.js, Node.js) and cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Redis).
  • A hands-on leader with direct experience managing engineers and implementing monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
  • Strong ability to set SLOs/SLAs, shape technical strategy, and build engineering processes from the ground up.
