Market Manager Thailand

Emerging Travel Group (ETG) is a travel-tech company that owns 3 international brands: RateHawk, ZenHotels & RoundTrip. For the past 13 years, we have successfully created a unique service that provides everything our partners need to make travel planning easy and trips comfortable.

We are looking for sales travel tech professional with hotel e-commerce, revenue, or OTA mixed backgrounds who will be excited to build and develop our business in Asia starting from Thailand!

You are a bright networker, positive thinker, great personality, ready to learn and adopt, full of ideas, eager to win, ready to take reasonable risks and strongly believe in personal and company success, loving travel and hospitality.
Exciting role include contracting new, developing business with existing hotel partners, involves business travelling, running events, interacting with key industry players and partners on a very high level. If this is about you - please apply!

 

This is a remote vacancy open to candidates residing in Bangkok or Phuket.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspire and contract new hotels to distribute business through ETG platforms;
  • Work with existing partners to improve commercial success;
  • Assist in the process of registering and onboarding hotels to make it producing;
  • Monitor the competitiveness of rates and availability and terms of cooperation;
  • Work with analytical tools to develop data driven sales strategy;
  • Cooperate with marketing, finance and support teams.
  • Run partner events.
  • Seek for collaborations and synergies with the kay market players.

Key Qualifications

  • Relevant experience. 2-5 years mixed experience in sales hotel e-commerce, revenue, or OTA, tech hotel suppliers, excellent knowledge of the country’s travel market; specialized in driving sales and business development within hotels or hotel chains;
  • Personal skills. Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, appetite for innovative technology, comfortable with fast-changing business environment, teamplayer, used to data-driven decision-making;
  • International mindset. Ability to understand and work across a wide range of cultural contexts reflecting ETG’s global presence;
  • Location. We're looking for a person to be based in Thailand, Phuket or Bangkok;
  • Language knowledge. Native/Fluent in Thai, advanced in English;
  • Readiness for business trips. 40 – 50% of working time might be required for market visits.
