About the role: The Data Engineering Project Manager supports the Project Management team by overseeing projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. They manage all phases of the project lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role involves coordinating efforts across teams to drive project execution, leveraging industry-leading technology and top engineering resources. The role plays a key part in maintaining alignment between technical and business objectives to support successful project outcomes.

This Project Manager I provides support to the Project Management team and is directly responsible for the delivery of assigned simple projects within acceptable time frames and quality standards for multiple projects. The Project Manager will manage all phases of the project through the Product Development process. This position exists to project-manage cross-functional teams by working closely with all aspects of the product/solution development community: Market Vertical, Product Manager, Engineering, Testing, Legal, and more. This will require working with top Engineering resources utilizing our industry-leading technology.


About the team: This Agile team is entrusted with the utilization of advanced Data Solutions to drive innovation.

Requirements

  • Managing all phases of projects through the Product Development process.
  • Defining key performance parameters and create regular variance reports to track progress.
  • Negotiating with Engineering Resource Managers for project resources.
  • Performing data analysis relevant to project tasks.
  • Requesting resource demand and review resource & budget allocation for projects. Scheduling and facilitate project review meetings for the purpose of updating status.
  • Escalating complex issues and decisions to senior-level PMO colleagues.
  • Maintaining ownership of and accountability for the project schedule.
  • Effectively communicate project status — including schedule variances and mitigation options.
  • Identifying and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and  ensuring project governance and compliance

Requirement:

  • Posses complex Data analysis skills. 
  • Able to drive complex Data Solutions from inception to completion.
  • Proven  Project Management skillset within complex Data Driven Solutions
  • Have and able to utilize  stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Experience using MS Project, MS Office, and MS Visio.
  • Ability to effectively present status and issues to Project Owner and Business Unit Portfolio Leaders.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills required.
  • Experience coordinating team work flow in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience partnering with other project stakeholders to resolve issues and to mitigate project impacts.
  • Possess a results-oriented outlook with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
