About the job

 

We are seeking an Account Executive (Emerging Career) to sell SAS Solutions to Life Sciences prospects. This Sales opening utilizes their professional skills to deliver customer business value through the creative use of SAS products, technologies, and services in collaboration with a team of other SAS professionals.

What You'll Do:

  • Take ownership of a defined growth territory in Life Sciences, driving business expansion through innovation and collaboration.
  • Lead your own account strategy with a results-oriented mindset, creating tailored approaches to meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Prospect with precision, identifying and qualifying high-impact opportunities that address complex industry challenges.
  • Collaborate with global teams, including EMEA, to craft strategies and deliver world-class solutions.
  • Grow existing partnerships while cultivating new relationships that lead to measurable results.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: 1-4 years of experience working in sales, preferabbly in the Life Sciences or related industries.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Skills: Exceptional prospecting, relationship-building, and strategic account management skills.
  • Mindset: A self-starter who thrives in leading their own account strategy to achieve tangible results.
  • Flexibility: Ability to travel up to 50% or as needed to meet business goals.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience selling and prospecting into drug development companies
  • Live in Cary, NC with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity
  • An understanding of use of software in a regulated environment
