About the job

The Customer Intelligence team is hiring a Senior Account Executive to assist customers and prospects in evaluating their Customer Experience strategies and modernizing their Customer Engagement solutions. The role involves understanding business challenges, presenting SAS solutions, and building relationships with key accounts in the EMEA market. The focus will be on driving growth in sectors like Financial Services, Retail, and TMT by leveraging existing relationships and creating new ones. This position offers a chance for an experienced sales professional to drive cloud-native marketing and personalization solutions. 

 

As a Senior Account Executive, you will:

  • Engage with targeted customers and prospect accounts to position SAS Marketing solutions, managing deals typically between $100k to $1M+.
  • Develop strategies to modernize customer engagement for strategic clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships, influencing long-term strategies and engaging with C-level decision-makers.
  • Provide expertise in industry, business, and marketing technology to close deals in your assigned territory.
  • Support lead-generation activities and integrate strategies into account plans, qualifying based on business and technical fit.
  • Develop opportunities and create compelling proposals to communicate the value of SAS solutions, collaborating with internal teams
  • Support the closure of complex sales and assist with pricing and licensing negotiations.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in solution selling within enterprise software or marketing technology.
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
  • Strong consultative selling skills: understand customer goals, identify value drivers, and present to executives confidently.
  • Build executive and director-level relationships by addressing business-critical problems and outcomes.
  • Proactively search for marketing opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attention to detail while focusing on long-term vision and anticipating potential roadblocks.
  • Passionate, motivating team player with self-drive and a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, software acquisition cycles, and territory dynamics.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and in teams, and willingness to travel.
  • Right to work in Saudi / Qatar
  • Language fluency in Arabic and English. Written and Spoken.
  • Business Travel required.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
