Job Summary:


At. St. Francis-Emory Healthcare, we know that achieving positive patient outcomes is only possible when there is clinical expertise and nursing leadership at the bedside. Our enthusiastic and engaged leadership team is hiring a nursing manager for our busy Endoscopy unit to work with the Surgical Services director in promoting a healthy work environment for employees and providing a safe and compassionate care environment for our patients. The Endoscopy unit manager is also an integral member of the nursing leadership team whose focus is on leadership development, shared decision-making, and innovation in practice. Qualifications

Education:
  • Associates degree in Nursing X Required
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing X Preferred
Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
Licenses:
  • Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multi state/compact RN license
Work Experience
  • Six (6) months of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a direct patient care setting preferred
Required Skills
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
