Sr. Marketing Manager - ShawgrassPosition Overview
The Marketing Manager, Shawgrass, is responsible for marketing development, execution and measurement focused on growing the market share and profitability of the brand across channels. The role supervises and executes marketing activities and must develop a strong understanding of the business + competitive companies/products and the target consumer. As a leader within the organization, the candidate must have the skill set and experience necessary to make sound business decisions, set strategic direction and influence internal/external stakeholders to execute a strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
Define, execute and measure complex marketing and merchandising strategies effectively supporting Shawgrass across different distribution channels
Manage multiple projects from concept to completion to ensure timelines and budgets are met
Highly collaborative role requiring strategic influence with product category teams, product design, sales and other marketing team members
Conduct and leverage market research and put it to work for the brand. Identify gaps in research and work with internal stakeholders to obtain and leverage
Develop and oversee marketing materials relevant to the desired audience, including but not limited to national sales force, wholesale distribution, retail customers, and pro installer channel
Tradeshow development and execution
Understand and align marketing deliverables with message, imagery, and product for tangible and digital platforms
Effectively communicate marketing initiatives to internal and external audiences + customers
Drive brand consistency through all marketing activities
Effectively identify KPIs and measure marketing tactics, optimize as needed
Positively represent Shaw’s culture and values when engaging with customers
Help with marketing initiatives/projects on the Shaw Turf business as needed
Requirements:
4-year degree
5+ years of marketing, communications, or relevant experience
Multitasking and managing complex workload ability
Agile mindset
Proven interpersonal and leadership skills
Preferred:
Knowledge of graphic design programs and principles
knowledge of social media strategies and techniques
Experience working in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
