Job Description

  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to meticulously identify their engineering requirements.
  • Investigate and analyze engineering issues, devising effective solutions that align with the highest industry standards.
  • Plan and execute projects with precision, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality benchmarks, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Working with the design team for solutions focused on functionality, robustness, standardization, and cost-effectiveness, reviewing designs created in 2D/3D CAD, ANSYS, and other cutting-edge tools.
  • Undertake complex calculations and analyses, ensuring the application of the latest engineering methodologies.
  • Take ownership of OEM standardization processes, driving consistency and excellence across projects.
  • Identify new systems and processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Foster effective communication with fellow engineers, cross-functional departments, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Be ready for occasional travel, contributing to the success of projects beyond the Morton Grove Center of Excellence

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience within a related industry / company.
  • Broad knowledge of engineering sciences, materials, and modern manufacturing processes
  • Ability to review 2D&3D CAD drawings
  • Advanced use of CSTEDY (proprietary CFD/FEA package) and FEA (ANSYS) evaluation of stress and deformation, thermodynamic and fluid dynamics
  • Project management skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
