JOB SUMMARY

The Surgical Services & GI Project Manager is responsible for managing project development and implementing project plans that support the Surgical Services and Gastrointestinal (GI) main objectives. The Surgical Services & GI Project Manager is accountable for the performance and results of the project implementations and outcomes. Coordinates, plans, directs, and manages multiple projects as needed. Collaborates with the Executive Director on projects that improve the profitability and market share of the service line. The Surgical Services & GI Project Manager implements all service related practice goals under the leadership of the Executive Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

* Manages projects that support the Surgical Services and Gastrointestinal service lines and is accountable for the results of the project team.
* Adapts project plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges in the Surgical Services and GI service lines.
* Recommends policies and procedures that ensure a maximum return on investment, operational efficiency and implementation.
* Identifies and resolves technical and operational challenges in the services lines.
* Provides daily project support to assigned service lines in collaboration with Executive director and is fully accountable for the results of the assigned projects.
* Collaborates with the executive director to ensure projects align with operational standards and returns on investments are realized.
* Develops project plans for service lines. Collaborates with the Executive director to establish goals for projects that support business and marketing plans for the service line(s) to ensure growth and stability.
* Maintains standard monitoring processes and reports for oversight of surgical services projects to include performance to volume standards, and access Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and goals associated with patient experience.
* Participates in developing systems to improve and provide in depth financial analysis of operations. Contributes to business and facility plans to maximize patient revenue and minimize costs, for high quality, and increased profitability of the service line.
* Assists in the development of metrics, dashboards, and reports that accurately measure financials (patient volumes, charges, frequency of procedures, resource allocation (procedure rooms, staff allocation, etc.), access to appointments (physician supply, appointment availability, etc.), and patient experience (wait times, etc.).
* Collaborates with COE and Executive Director to determine the appropriate numbers of patients per clinic to promote efficiency in offering quality patient care.
* Monitors projects to ensure goals are met, meets with stakeholders to discuss project status and goals, and collaborates with marketing team and the Executive Director to improve strategies.of the job.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university

Experience:

  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related experience.
  • Experience in managing and leading programs, work units or departments, including experience in administrative or managerial positions.


License/Certification: None required.

* Ability to mediate and resolve complex problems and issues.

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $45.98 to $60.96
