Job Overview
T-Mobile reinvented the wireless experience—and We Won’t Stop. The Consumer Postpaid Marketing team is focused on delivering features and benefits that deliver tangible value to our customers and prospects. The Sr. Commercial Marketing Manager is a critical role within the team that is responsible for leading our Quarterly and Annual Planning processes in partnership with multiple functions across the business – Customer Retention, Brand Marketing, Media, Segments, and many more. This seasoned marketer will contribute to shaping how we communicate our value story by leveraging consumer insights, historical lessons, and marketing best practices. This position calls for a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and proactive project manager who excels at forging relationships and crafting compelling, engaging content.

*** This position is located in Bellevue, WA, Overland Park, KS, or Frisco, TX. This is not a remote role, this is a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days a week in office.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement T-Mobile strategies to continuously improve the customer experience, and drive subscriber and revenue growth.
  • Use data analytics, customer insights, and market trends to evaluate and discover opportunities that deliver value and create differentiation within the market. Present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional Marketing teams to develop plans that effectively communicate our value propositions through owned and paid marketing channels.
  • Manage business performance including tracking of results, preparing contingencies, and developing iterations of the plan in a competitive environment.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members to foster growth and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree (Preferred)

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years developing and driving marketing strategies/plans in an agency or corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Strong data analysis and business insight skills to drive marketing decisions and strategies
  • Familiarity with gathering consumer insights and drawing on findings to inform marketing strategies
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills, experience driving cross-functional teams to implement complex strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and present ideas effectively to senior leadership.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in using data analytics tools and techniques to drive marketing strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and think creatively to identify market opportunities and implement solutions that resonate with customers
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Base Pay Range: $109,300 - $197,200

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
