Job Overview

TE Connectivity is seeking a highly motivated and organized Engineer II (Product Engineer) to join our team within the AD&M MOG business group. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting product engineering functions, driving standardization, and ensuring production excellence. The ideal candidate will be skilled in SolidWorks, experienced in VA/VE, and capable of working collaboratively in cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

 

Please note: This position may involve working with technical data, technology, software/source code, hardware, or other items (collectively “items) subject to U.S. and non-U.S. export control laws and regulations.  Under these regulations, it may be necessary for TE to verify a candidate’s national origin and/or citizenship status to determine whether a U.S. or other government export license is required prior to releasing its technologies to the candidate.  If TE determines that TE will require a license or will be prohibited by applicable laws from providing the candidate with items necessary for the performance of this position, then TE expressly reserves the right to either a) make an offer of employment contingent upon TE receiving required export licenses from the appropriate government agency, b) consider the candidate for a different position that is not subject to such restrictions, on whatever terms and conditions TE shall establish in its sole discretion, or c) decline to move forward with the candidate’s application.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Utilize SolidWorks to create and modify detailed designs and drawings.
  • Lead Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) projects to improve product efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage and execute engineering change orders (ECOs) to ensure product and documentation integrity.
  • Support non-conformance dispositioning by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate on product standardization initiatives to streamline processes and reduce complexity.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot technical issues, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Maintain organized documentation and reporting to meet business and project requirements.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent engineering experience (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field preferred).
  • 3 yrs of product engineering experience
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with VA/VEengineering change orders, and root cause analysis is essential.
  • Strong understanding of non-conformance dispositioning and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Team player with outstanding collaboration and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with defense industry standards and requirements is a plus

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $86,100 - 129,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
