People Ops Manager

Tebi’s mission is to help restaurants evolve their business. The restaurant industry is suffering from oversubscription. A small business owner often requires 10+ subscriptions to run their business. Tebi is evolving the space and bringing all the required tools to run your business into one elegant solution, Tebi OS. By simplifying this, new levels of productivity and earning potential are unlocked, and restaurants can focus on what they do best—serve their customers.

About the role:

We’re looking for a thoughtful and driven People Ops Manager to help us build and support a team that loves working at Tebi. You’ll own the systems, processes, and experiences that make Tebi a great place to work—from onboarding and employee engagement to day-to-day HR operations.

You’ll partner closely with leadership to create a people-first culture, help us scale intentionally, and ensure our team feels supported no matter where they’re based. This role is perfect for someone who cares deeply about creating a high-performance and high-care environment where people can do their best work.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and improve core people operations processes—including onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, and performance cycles

  • Be a go-to partner for Tebi employees, offering thoughtful, timely support for people-related questions and issues

  • Help us scale our team in a way that’s aligned with our values, ensuring consistency across countries and time zones

  • Track employee engagement and work with leadership to continuously improve the employee experience

  • Maintain and evolve our HR systems and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and ease of use

  • Partner with hiring teams to support smooth, welcoming transitions from candidate to team member

What you'll need:

  • 3–5 years of experience in people operations, HR, or employee experience, ideally in a fast-growing tech environment

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices, with the ability to build and adapt them for scale

  • A high level of empathy, discretion, and judgment—people trust you and feel safe turning to you

  • Comfortable working across geographies and time zones with remote and hybrid teams

  • Detail-oriented and process-savvy—you can juggle systems, tasks, and timelines without dropping the ball

  • Bonus: experience managing HR operations across multiple countries or regions

Benefits:

  • Generous start-up equity

  • Competitive Salary

  • Lunch provided in the office

  • Team building events

What is Restaurant Software?

Restaurants and other merchants use various software systems such as Point of Sale (POS), Reservations, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), Payments, Inventory, Staffing, and the list goes on. These systems all need to speak to each other which they frequently don’t. It’s a mess, and we are fixing it.

From buying a croissant at a cafe to having dinner with friends, it’s a €4 Trillion+ global market and a critical part of everyday life in today's economy.
