PRIMARY PURPOSE/GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The function of the head residential coordinator is to create a safe environment in the residence hall for program participants in collaboration with other staff and the administration. This individual must be a team player who can communicate effectively and exercise a high level of maturity and integrity.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and ability to perform the job.
Junior/Senior undergraduate standing is preferred.
Experience working first generation students from underserved communities is preferred.

HOURS & CLASSIFICATION AND STATUS:
This is a temporary status, full-time, non-benefits eligible, non-exempt position.
Hours will vary based upon the needs of the department, but will usually be scheduled for alternating shifts of 2:00 pm-11:00pm & 7:00 am-4:00 pm.
This assignment is anticipated to begin on or around May 8, 2025 and is expected to end on or before June 28, 2025.
Hourly rate: $16.75. The hourly rate of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Supervises resident coordinators.

Ability to lift and carry short distances up to 20 lbs., for example to lift or move office supplies, files, books and packages.
