Our philosophy is that every person should be afforded dignity and respect and that no one should be without a safe, affordable, and secure home. We provide services and supports to adults, and families with accompanying children in the form of accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral services.
he Community Support Worker is part of a multidisciplinary team at Flagstaff and The Open Door, providing accommodation support and engagement for males experiencing homelessness with complex needs. The role involves welcoming clients into a supportive community marked by acceptance, compassion, and care.
About the role
We are seeking a values-driven Community Support worker who will deliver community support, ensuring services are client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, while reflecting the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
Reporting to the Team Leader this is a Permanent, Full-time role, located in North Melbourne, Victoria.
