Overview: 

We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Product Director for Door Security. The ideal candidates will have around 7 years+ of successful experience in product development and management, especially in smart home products. The successful candidate will take the lead in our product categories, including smart video doorbells, smart door locks, and other access control products.

As the Product Director, you will be responsible for conducting product research and defining products for the global market. You'll also oversee the product line planning and driving its growth. Your work will play a key role in developing competitive products that meet the needs of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities: 

 1. User Analysis:

   - Conduct in-depth analysis of global user product usage scenarios, identifying and understanding genuine user needs.

   - Possess a keen observational eye for life, providing insights for product improvements and innovations.

2. Competitive Analysis:

   - Summarize competitor product features accurately and quickly, conducting targeted comparisons with TP-Link smart home products.

3. Technology Research and Innovation:

   - Dive into research on new technologies conducive to user experience, applying innovations to enhance user experience and product competitiveness.

4. Product Definition and Roadmap Planning:

   - Rapidly define competitive door security products (including smart video doorbells, smart door locks, smart access control systems, etc.) and software features based on market competition, user demands, technological advancements, and global differences.

   - Research and guide the development of more new types of products to expand TP-Link's smart home footprint and bring users a complete and convenient smart home experience.

   - Plan the roadmap for the development of door security products.

5. Communication and Collaboration

   - Lead the Door Security product team and be responsible for the work related to the product line.

  - Actively articulate product features, user value, and competitive advantages, and lead the TP-Link's creative product team for further refinement.

   - Collaborate with R&D teams in China and the United States to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.

6. Sales and Operations Support:

   - Collaborate with the global sales team to create monthly product production plans, adjusting based on sales and competitive conditions.

   - Track and optimize user feedback post product launch, continuously refining products. 

- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.

- Experience driving product roadmap strategies and definitions.

- Experience in fully defining product development, participating in technical decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

- User experience with smart home products, embracing the concept of smart homes transforming lives.

- Previous experience with access control system, video doorbell, smart cameras, smart door locks, or related products.

Salary range: $180,000 - $250,000
