Overview

The Tyndale Company, an 8x Top Workplace winner in PA and certified woman-owned business, is seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Manager to lead our Infrastructure, Quality Assurance (QA), and Business Data Engineering (BDE) teams. In this leadership role, you’ll shape and execute IT roadmaps, mentor a growing team, and drive continuous improvement in technology solutions, service levels, KPIs, and compliance.

 

HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 2 days per week, and 3 days per week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our corporate headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County).

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and manage the daily operations of the IT Infrastructure, QA, and Business Data Engineering teams.
  • Adjust team priorities to align with business objectives and meet key IT performance indicators (KPIs), including:
    • Ensuring timely resolution of helpdesk, QA, and reporting tickets to meet service level objectives (SLOs).
    • Monitoring application performance and availability.
    • Meeting all Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to identify IT support needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Communicate proactively with employees and departments regarding IT projects and support activities, driving transparency and trust in IT services.
  • Oversee the development and execution of IT roadmaps, ensuring systems, software, and patching remain current.
  • Maintain and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure ongoing PCI compliance.
  • Manage and track the department’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing an Information Technology team required.
  • Must be flexible for off-hours work as needed, including weekends, nights, and holidays when necessary.
  • Experience supporting a primarily Microsoft environment (with a growing Linux and hybrid cloud footprint).
  • Experience in supporting 24/7 operations including a physical data center, hybrid cloud, and multiple branch locations preferred.
  • Project management and strong analytical skills.
