Summary of Job Duties:

The Administrative Specialist III is responsible for performing general office duties for the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design, including department and office support, student support, and faculty support.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma

  • At least one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field

  • At least two years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some post-secondary education from an accredited institution of higher education

  • At least two years of experience in a higher education academic unit

  • Demonstrated work experience in approaching work strategically

  • Experience with Workday

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Creative Suite
