Job Summary
A highly motivated and experienced Research Coordinator is required for a research project. The goal of this study is to generate knowledge that will inform the development and assessment of video resources to improve postpartum mental health literacy and help-seeking attitudes among racialized women living in British Columbia. The research coordinator will support the principal investigator (PI) and research team in executing studies efficiently and effectively. The research coordinator will be assigned to undertake a range of tasks including coordinating with the research team and collaborators, scheduling and coordinating research meetings, assisting in obtaining ethics approvals and amendments, developing recruitment materials, coordinating with participants for recruitment, inviting participants for data collection, coordinating and conducting focus group discussions /interviews and analysis, coordinating and assisting scoping review and synthesis activities, assisting in video content development, supervising and coordinating with research trainees for quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, assisting in knowledge translation activities, including manuscript and report writing and making conference presentations.
Organizational Status
This position reports to the Principal Investigator at UBC-Vancouver. As a key member of a research team, the Research Coordinator will work closely and collaboratively with the Principal Investigator, research team members, and community collaborators.

The research coordinator will work under the minimum supervision of the Dr. Saima Hirani (PI). The post holder will be expected to work relatively independently with direction and guidance provided by the PI.

The research coordinator may have supervisory responsibilities for the research trainees.
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of a relevant technical program or a university degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
