The EEG Tech II performs routine and complex electroencephalograms (EEGs) on patients of all ages, adhering to established protocols and safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of neurophysiology, seizure disorders, and EEG patterns, as well as the ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify artifacts. The EEG Tech II also assists with advanced procedures such as evoked potentials, sleep studies, and intraoperative monitoring, and may provide training and mentorship to junior EEG technicians. They are responsible for accurate documentation, patient education, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment, contributing to the overall quality of neurological diagnostic services.
Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000.
