The Role
Suffolk is currently seeking an Energy Marshall to implement learning, provide consistency, and drive rigor into energy isolation and electrical safety programs.
The Energy Marshall will be responsible for Implementation and Audit of Safe Work Practices associated with energization and isolations, review and approval of LOTO and permitting processes as well as all other processes related to energizations and isolations
Establishment of consistency around project team energizations and isolations, provide detailed reporting to customer on safety or progress of related matters, act as the SME for energization and Isolations related to the project, and participation in planning meetings to ensure coordinated energization and isolation plans are accurate and approved in timely manner to avoid delays.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
