At Dignity Health Medical Foundation, a Family Practice LVN plays a key role in patient care. Responsibilities include prepping patients for exams, assisting with procedures, relaying instructions from physicians, collecting patient data, and accurately documenting patient information in medical records. The LVN also administers medications as directed by the physician and ensures that patient care environments are safe and organized.

To qualify for the Family Practice LVN position at Dignity Health Medical Foundation, candidates need a high school diploma or its equivalent and completion of an accredited LVN program. Additionally, a current and valid California LVN license along with BLS-CPR certification from the American Heart Association is essential. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are also critical for success in this role.

While not mandatory, Dignity Health Medical Foundation prefers candidates for the Family Practice LVN position who have at least one year of experience in an outpatient setting.
