Payment Solution Architect

1. Be part of the project team to design functional & Technical solutions for Payment system functions, APH Systems, Integration with internal & External systems, and monitor implementation of the solutions.

2. Review current and legacy solutions and provide feasible target solutions considering existing limitations, including modernization of legacy payment application

3. Work with Enterprise Architects and project teams to ensure solution architectures developed are complied with enterprise architecture principles, standards and guidelines. Act as the bridge between enterprise architecture and delivery.

4. Prepare the journey landscape from AS-IS model to a Target Strategic landscape.

5. Design and influence various market best practices deployed for payment landscape.

6. Provide detailed study of AS-IS landscape and the dependencies there of from Payment ecosystem perspective.

7. Design highly critical system/application according to business expectations and existing constraints, through both tactical and strategic solutions.

8. Develop, document and present distinct and end-to-end functional solutions to architecture board and ensure the implementation team delivers as per the design.

9. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (SI partners, product vendors) to deliver end to end solution.

3. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

4. Able to work independently as well as within a team to tackle issues & identify solutions in a timely manner

5. In depth experience in Payments, Cash Mgmt and Transaction Banking projects

6. Good Technical & Operational understanding of Payments & Collections/Receivables (Cross-border TT, RTGS, ACH Bulk Payments, Direct Debit, Internal Transfer, Instant/FAST payments, Virtual Account, etc)

Secondary Skillset (good to have):

1. Sound knowledge of Core Banking functionality, General Ledger posting, Pymt FX processing, STP efficiency, AML requirements, Reconciliation and Cashflow.
2. Good knowledge of regional regulatory requirements and payments related risk controls and governance

3. Experience in Supply Chain Finance, Trade Finance, cheques and Loans processing

4. Strong operations and/or Testing background
