Job Description

The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, performing appropriate procedures, and preparing rooms & equipment.  The MA is also responsible for maintaining records, assisting with front-office activities as available, and interacting in a professional, friendly manner with patients & family members, physicians, staff, and visitors.  

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.  
  • Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program and certification from The American Association of Medical Assistants or other certifying bodies highly preferred.  
  • American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare provider required.
