Physician Assistant Principal Faculty - Non Tenure

Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of ARC-PA standards and NYS Office of the Professions requirements.
  • Contribute to ARC-PA accreditation reports, self-study activities, and program analysis.
  • Teach and/or evaluate instruction in core/professional courses as assigned by the Director.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, coordination, and continuous review of the curriculum.
  • Update didactic course syllabi, instructional materials, and learning objectives.
  • Participate in the PA Program admissions process.
  • Deliver student instruction and assess learning outcomes.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
  • Provide academic advisement and coordinate remedial instruction as needed.
  • Serve on the Curriculum and Academic Affairs Committee and other approved program or University committees.
  • Advise students and monitor their academic progress, providing reports on each advisee’s development.
  • Master’s degree required.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience.

License/Certification:

  • Current NCCPA certification.
  • State of New York PA license or eligibility for New York State PA licensure.
