University Physicians' Association is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technician for UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S SPECIALISTS, located at the main UT hospital campus in Knoxville.


Responsibilities:

  • Produce diagnostic images for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on obstetrical and gynecology patients.
  • Travel to satellite offices within Knoxville area as needed.
  • Perform perinatal ultrasounds including fetal anatomical surveys, assess fetal wellbeing, and doppler studies.
  • Assist physicians with in-office procedures requiring ultrasound guidance.
  • Explain procedure to patients and address their concerns in a friendly, caring, professional matter.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with providers.
  • Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other office policies.
  • Team player willing to assist with office workflow and other office duties to ensure appropriate patient care.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates as appropriate utilizing electronic medical records system.
  • Other duties as needed.

  • OB/GYN experience preferred.
  • RDMS registered.
